Thomas M. Poulin ,48, of Stafford Springs, CT entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 26, 2016 after a long illness. Tom was born on February 21, 1968 in Hartford CT. He was the son of the late Edward J. and Isabelle (Higney) Poulin. Tom attended Our Lady of Sorrows School and then Hartford High. After high school he began learning the flooring installation trade. Tom mastered his career working for many of Connecticut’s top companies, including Carpet Workshop, McBride Carpets, Hartford Flooring and many others who relied on his talent and expertise. Tom would give the shirt off his back to whoever needed it and never ask for anything from anyone. He leaves to mourn two brothers and sisters- in-law, Edward Poulin, Anita Calvo and Mike Poulin, Catherine Cooper. His girlfriend, Ann Carraba and her parents; sister-in-law, Beatrice Robinson; six nieces, Laura, Leila, Tanya, Alicia, Kerrie and Samantha; one nephew Anthony, and one great-nephew, Greyson. A special aunt and uncle George and Toni Poulin and many other friends and relatives. He was predeceased by brothers, Donald and Mark Poulin. Calling hours are Thursday, (October 6), from 4-7 pm followed by a funeral service at 7:00 pm at the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford.
