Shirley was the proud, loving and supportive Mother of two Sons who reside in Connecticut, Joen Samuel (Megan, Joelina, Joen and Jada) and Jose Antonio Jr. (Daishana, Jose A., Jose D., Joshua and Alex) and one Son who lives in Indiana, Craig R. Shirley’s Cousins and Friends held no title other than Family and she made sure they received the same love and attention regardless of position or name.
LIFE! LOVE! LOYALTY! If you knew Shirley those words will make you stop in your tracks to tell a story about what Shirley meant to you. Shirley followed no one, rather she led her Family and Friends on a First Class journey filled with laughter and passion. Shock, sadness and emptiness may fill the hearts of her Family now, but they know that Shirley answered her call and that soon they will feel Joy in knowing He shared her with them for 64 years and that He returned her Home to prepare a place for those she loves. The Family extends their gratitude to Healthcare Professionals who cared for her, her Employer, Co-Workers, Friends and Family who traveled from near and far to be with Shirley during her final earthly days. The Funeral Service will be Wednesday, (December 21, 2016), 11:00 am, at the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford.
