Obituary for Antonio Oliveira

Antonio  Oliveira
Antonio Oliveira, 69, of Vernon, beloved husband of Ausenda (Terra) Oliveira, passed away, Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at home with his family by his side. Born in Murtosa, Portugal, son of Antonio J. Oliveira of East Hartford and the late Gracinda de Jesus Oliveira, he came to the Hartford area in 1967. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Hartford and he was the owner and operator of Tony's Import Auto Service, Manchester. He was a member of the Hartford Portuguese Club, Newington, the Holy Ghost Society, East Hartford, the Porsche Club of America and the BMW Club of America. Besides his wife and father, he leaves two sons and a daughter-in-law, Victor Benjamin and Maria Fatima Oliveira of Columbia and Daniel Antonio Oliveira of Vernon; a brother and sister-in-law, Manuel Jose and Maria Rosa Oliveira; a sister and brother-in-law, Maria Julia and Manuel Milheiro all of East Hartford; an uncle, Antonio Reverendo and his wife Rosa of Newark, NJ; his aunts, Albertina Lopes of Kearny, NJ and Maria R. Reverendo of South Windsor; a granddaughter, Katarina Rose; two nephews, Paulo and Marco Milheiro; two nieces, Margaret Oliveira and Jennifer Florio; special friends, Fernando and Maria Estevam. Antonio also leaves several aunts, uncles and cousins in Canada and Portugal.
Funeral procession will be Saturday (Feb. 25), 9:00 am from the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 am in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Hartford. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Hartford. Calling hours are Friday, (Feb. 24), from 4 to 7 pm at the funeral home. The family would like to thank ECHN VNA Hospice. for the loving care given to Antonio. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Our Lady of Fatima Church.
