Michael F.  Sinon
Michael F. Sinon, Jr., 75, beloved husband of Carol (Horan) Sinon, died Friday, June 9,2017 at St. Mary Home, West Hartford. Born in Hartford on October 3, 1941, he was the son of the late Michael F. Sr., and Mae (Leydon) Sinon. He was the owner and operator of the Michael F. Sinon Construction Company for many years. Michael also worked at Avery Heights and retired from Carling Technology. He was proud of his Irish Heritage and made several trips to Ireland over the years with family and friends. He was a lifelong member of the Irish American Home Society. Besides his wife of 55 years, Michael leaves behind his five daughters, Rita Barrett, Joanne Boulais, Sheilah Paindiris (Pete), Maura Hackett (Bill), and Katie DeHart (Eric). He was predeceased by a son, Michael F. Sinon, III. He also leaves 14 grandchildren, Alissa, Mariah and Savannah Barrett, Shane and Mollie Boulais, Myranda Laska, Alex and Evan Paindiris, Kaleigh, Val, Tori and Riley Hackett and Josh and Emily DeHart. The family wishes to thank the entire staff of St. Mary Home, especially the staff on West 1. Calling hours are Thursday,(June 15), 4-7 pm at the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford. Funeral Service will be Friday, (June 16), 11:00 am at the funeral home.
