The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Col. Thank you.

Condolence From: John H. Proctor
Condolence: I worked with Ed during the 1969-70 school year when he was the Director of Buildings and Grounds for the Windsor Public Schools. I was the newly appointed principal of the Oliver Ellsworth School which was under construction. He was of tremendous help to me in developing the specifications for equipment, bidding and awarding the contracts. Shortly after that, he left for the same job in West Hartford. It was a significant loss to Windsor as he was a dedicated and cooperative employee. I enjoyed working with this thoughtful person. It was many years ago but I have happy memories of him.

Condolence: My deepest sympathies on your loss. I have lost both parents and know how hard and how long the pain lasts. I knew Ed from my 8 years on the Board of Education and admired him as a professional but even more as a warm friendly gentleman whom I was privileged to know and work with.
