Condolences

Condolence From: Patty M. Carroll, Class of 1979
Condolence: I was so sad to learn of Sal's death. I reached out to her a few years back when I learned that my nephews had her as a teacher... It brought back a flood of such good memories - sitting in her Mythology class. She was a marvelous teacher - smart, witty, and kind. I told her I channel her every time I explore ancient Greece and mythology with my students.

We chatted on-line a few times and I marveled at what she recalled about the "old days." Her love of teaching and of her students was as joyous as I remembered.

May warm memories and God's grace bring her beloved family peace in the days ahead.

Condolence: Deb was one of the best teachers I have ever been graced with, and her radiant personality and way with words always charmed me. She was a ball of fun to be around, and always knew what to say or how to make any mood better. I will miss her constant positivity and the brightness she brought everywhere she went.

Condolence From: Lynn Jones
Condolence: My thoughts and prayers are with Deb and her family. I was a colleague of Deb's at Portland High School. She was a wonderful person and I always enjoyed our lunchtime "catch-ups" in her classroom.

Sincerely,

Lynn Jones

Condolence: Sal was my English teacher in high school (Greek mythology) as well as co-director of our senior class play. She was clever, cool, and fun, and she knew her stuff. I loved her class, and I see that can be read two ways, and I mean both. She was great. A candle snuffed out much too early. I wish her family and loved ones well.

Condolence: Taylor, Billie, Rondi, Jeff and family: Extending deepest sympathy to you and your families at this time of sadness. Life is a journey, and Debbie certainly had a joyful and zestful spirit along her life journey. A person that departs from this earth never truly leaves, for they are still remembered in our hearts and minds, through us, they live on. Please accept my condolences, Debbie will not be forgotten.
