Obituary for Antonio Da Conceicao Vale da Serra
Antonio Vale da Serra, 77, of East Hartford, beloved husband of the late Nidia Santos Vale da Serra, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2017. Born in Reguengo do Fetal, Portugal, son of the late Francisca da Conceicao and Francisco Vale da Serra and was a resident of East Hartford for many years. Prior to his retirement, he was employed at Vulcan Industries.
He is survived by his son, Jose Vale da Serra of South Windsor; a brother, Alfredo Vale da Serra of Portugal; two sisters, Irene Vale da Serra Oyola of Hartford and Maria Natividade Correia of Manchester
and a host nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Alberto Vale da Serra. A special thanks to the nursing staff of Riverside Health and Rehabilitation, East Hartford and the Doctors and Nurses at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, (November 22), 11: 00 am, at the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford. Calling hour will be prior to the service from 9:30 to 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
