Donald J. Zongol, Jr. November 29, 1988 - Dec. 4, 2017. Donald J. Zongol, Jr. known as "DJ" to his friends and family has lost his battle with addiction. Formerly of West Hartford, he moved to Lebanon in 2004. A graduate of Lyman Memorial High School , he later pursued a career in HVAC.
DJ had a passion for sports, playing soccer, hockey, snowboarding and mountain biking. His favorite pastime being off road motorcycle riding and racing. DJ was a long time member of the New England Trail Riders Association (Netra). DJ's smile and humor were infectious, and will be missed.
DJ is survived by his mother, Patricia Callahan of Clearwater ,FL; his father, Donald J. Zongol, Sr. and stepmother Karen Dorbuck of Lebanon; his loving sister, Kerri Zongol of Colchester and his favorite nephew, Antony Mitchell of Colchester. He also is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Calling hours are Saturday, (Dec. 16), from 3 to 5 pm at the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford. Burial will be private.
