Antonio Arruda, 86, of Hartford, beloved husband of Maria I. (Cabral) Arruda died Friday, January 19,2018. Born in St. Miguel, Portugal he came to the United States in 1968. He retired from Aetna Insurance. Besides his wife, Antonio leaves his three sons, Altino Arruda and his wife Maria of Tolland, Jose Arruda of Hartford, Paul Arruda and his wife Betsy of Tolland, two daughters, Maria Bettencourt and her husband John of Wethersfield and Paulina Arruda and her fiancée Tony Setaro of Cromwell. Antonio also leaves 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
The Funeral Procession will be Tuesday (January 23), 9:00 am from the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Avenue, West Hartford followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Hartford. Entombment will be in the mausoleum in St. Mary's Cemetery, New Britain. Calling hours will be Monday (January 22), from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
