Richard T. Woods, 65, of West Hartford passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 11, 2018 with his family by his side. He was born in Hartford on January 20, 1953, the son of the late Gerald T. Woods and Margaret (Blake) Woods. He was a member of St. Brigid Church, Elmwood, as well as a member of the third degree of St. Brigid Knights of Columbus Council 14216. He was also an honorary member of Pattaconk Yacht Club in Chester, CT.
Richard is survived by his brother James Woods and Mary, his sister Nancy Kunak and Larry, and his sister Janet Bourbeau. He is also survived by nephews, Mathew Woods and Marsha (Woods) Berkun, Karl and Kevin Kunak, Jason and Alan Bourbeau. He also has 2 grandnephews and 2 grandnieces.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 15, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at Sheehan-Hilborn-Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Avenue, West Hartford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Brigid Church, West Hartford at 11:00 am.
