Lucy (Francolini) Thomas, 103, of Westbrook passed away peacefully on February 13, 2018. Born in Hartford on September 13, 1914, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Rose Francolini of West Hartford and Old Lyme. Lucy had a laugh and smile that would light up a room. Always ready with a hug for everyone, she had a positive attitude that was inspiring to all who knew her. Lucy was a role model to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by two children, Dr. John Thomas of Barrington, Illinois and Lois Alexander of Westbrook, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great- great-grandchild. The family wishes to thank all of the staff and residents of Apple Rehab, Old Saybrook who shared their love, care and support with Lucy. Funeral services were private.
