Loretta (Camire) Fiengo, 73, of East Hartford and Old Lyme, beloved wife of 53 years to Frank D. Fiengo, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, May18, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital. Born in Bristol, she lived in the Hartford area all her life. She was employed by the East Hartford Public Schools as a paraprofessional for over 40 years. She was creative and enjoyed involving students in her many seasonal and holiday projects and reading stories that involved interaction, especially as the librarian at the Hockanum School. Her life revolved around spending at the beach with her family, especially her grandchildren and grand puppies.
Besides her husband, she leaves behind two daughters, Debra Doyon and her husband, Denis of Bristol and Cheryl Woodward and her husband, Brad of Bristol; her grandchildren, Rachael Doyon and her husband, Calum McIntosh, Evan Doyon, Brayton Woodward and Alexander Woodward. She also leaves behind, sisters, a sister-in-law, Louise and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday, (May 22), 11:00 am at the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford. Burial will be in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. Calling hours will be prior to the service from 9:30 to 11:00 am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Susan G. Komen or the American Liver Foundation.
