Idalina Jorge Graveto  Pantaleao
Idalina Jorge (Graveto) Pantaleao, 98, loving wife of the late Adelino dos Santos Pantaleao, passed away on April 21, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Mira de Aire, Portugal, she immigrated to Hartford in 1965. She was a devout Catholic and communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church. Idalina enjoyed spending time with her loved ones, praying the rosary, and in her retirement she found joy in creating beautiful crocheted keepsakes. She was an amazing woman, a true rock of the family, a kind soul full of grace and dignity. Her ever-present smile and positivity were contagious. She will be remembered for her legacy of love, happiness, and family. She is survived by eight children and their spouses. Joaquim and Julia Pantaleao of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, Lidia and Manuel Lavado of Cromwell, Rosa and Jose Cunha of Newington, Custodio and Maria Pantaleao of Hollywood, FL, Olimpia and Joao Rodrigues of Rocky Hill, Jose Luis and Fernanda Pantaleao of Newington, Idalinda and Antonio Santos of Wethersfield, Joao and Irene Pantaleao of Cromwell, as well as, 19 adored grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and countless nieces and nephews here and in Portugal. The family would like to thank the staff of Companions and Homemakers as well as St. Francis Hospital for their loving care. Funeral procession will be Monday, (April 25), at 9 a.m. from the Sheehan-Hilborn-Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Church, Hartford. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, (April 24), from 3 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
