The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Bruce Zongol can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Bruce Zongol

Bruce Zongol
Bruce Zongol, 60, of New Britain, son of the late Chester W. and Barbara (Purvis) Zongol. passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017. Born in Hartford, he lived most of his life in this area. Bruce worked in the family automobile business, Zongol Dodge and also managed many automotive glass shops. He was an avid football fan, he loved watching the Seattle Seahawks, Dallas Cowboys and the New England Patriots, as well as, being a avid NY Yankee fan. Bruce was a kind and caring person and loved animals, he will be missed by many.
Bruce leaves his two daughters, Colby Zongol and Providence, RI and Anna Lynch of Boston, MA; his brothers, Robert Zongol of Marlborough, MA, Donald Zongol of Colchester, and David Zongol of Meriden and his devoted friend Jodi Kelly of Farmington. Beside his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Chester "Skip" Zongol and William Zongol. Thank you to Dr. Clement & the staff at UCONN Oncology outpatient pavilion.
Calling hours will be Friday, January 20, from 11:00 to 1:00 pm at the Sheehan Hilborn Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, West Hartford. Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society. Online condolences may be made at www.SheehanHilbornBreen.com.
